Dairy Treat (DT) is designed for dairy operations to reduce BOD/COD/TSS and odors in dairy wastewater treatment, holding tanks and lagoons.  Our DT blend decomposes animal waste and accelerates the breakdown of milk sugars, milk proteins and milk fats.

Problem
Two unaerated dairy waste lagoons with initial BOD of 1,480 mg/L.  Retention time of 14 days and daily flow rate of 1,900 cubic meters per day.  Low efficiency in reducing organic materials and strong odors. 
Treatment
Bio-Green Dairy Treat (DT) microbes applied daily at inlet of waste lagoons.
Results
Odor eliminated in 7 days.  COD reduced from 2,300 mg/L to 175 mg/L and BOD reduced from 1,480 mg/L to 113 mg/L when measured on day 57.
